Local author and poet Kirsten Pendreigh will read the story and delve into the fascinating science of nurse logs with Sierra Club BC’s education team as we share drinks and nibblies and make a forest craft to take home. The perfect early evening activity for adults and kids. You’re never too old for a beautiful story!

Copies of WHEN A TREE FALLS will be available for purchase, with partial proceeds going to Sierra Club BC. There will be plenty of great door prizes for both kids and adults, with all proceeds going to Sierra Club BC.

Kirsten Pendreigh is a poet and children’s author whose books celebrate our early instincts to care for the plants and creatures that share our planet.
